I (will always) remember:

The first touch of your hand
Earth grounding me
For the rest of this life

Your breath a warm breeze
Carrying the scents of Spring
Heat of Summers to come

Your mouth tasted of clean water
Rivers of sweet water
Righting my desert wrongs

Your eyes held (hold) the sky
Brightness sharpening
All my senses

If your eyes aren’t in Heaven
Your touch, your voice, your mouth
I’m not going
