Valentine’s Day Doggerel for Homemade Cards

Note that I am not posting this under “Poetry.” It is not.
But with whatever editing you choose to do, you might find them useful. You’re welcome.
I.

Your love makes me feel every day
So happy that I’m taken
Because, sweet loving Papabear,
I love you more than bacon!

II.

Each night I get to dream of you –
Still, I long to waken
Because, oh beautiful Patrón,
I love you more than bacon.

IIII.

The touch of your beard on my face
Leaves me both stirred and shaken.
You look and smell and feel so good
And taste as good as bacon!

And if you prefer true DOGgerel to bacon…

IV.

They gaze at you adoringly,
Their small brains full of fog.
When you touch me, I think like them!
I love you like a dog!

V.

A dog’s heart is both strong and true.
It’s love’s own proper niche.
I love you with a heart like that!
Please let me be your bitch!

And one for us pushy lovers…

VI.

The Day of Valentines is for
The amateurs of love.
But even so, we have a bed –
Let me give you a shove!
